Free family screening: The Tiger Who Came to Tea, Cambridge Central Library
Bring the family along to Cambridge Central Library on Sunday 27 September for a free screening of The Tiger Who Came to Tea. Arts and crafts first, film after.
It's part of our CFF45 anniversary programme, and a nice preview of the Cambridge Family Film Festival, which returns properly this October.
Two sessions to pick from: 12.30pm or 2pm. Each runs an hour: 30 minutes of crafts, then the film.
The Tiger Who Came to Tea
Based on Judith Kerr's picture book, the story starts when Sophie and her mummy sit down for tea and the doorbell goes. Their visitor turns out to be a large, very hungry tiger, who eats and drinks his way through more or less everything in the house.
It's a 24-minute hand-drawn animation that does a lovely job of bringing Kerr's illustrations to life, a gentle, playful watch for families.
