Want to get involved in the 45th Cambridge Film Festival?
We’re looking for interns and volunteers to join us as we prepare for 11 days of films, screenings and events across Cambridge from 22 October to 1 November 2026.
Joining the Festival team is a chance to get a closer look at how CFF comes together, contribute to its delivery, and work alongside the people making it happen.
Apply for a Festival internship
We’re currently recruiting for two CFF45 internships:
- Festival Production & Hospitality
- Marketing & Outreach
The placements run approximately from 7 September to 6 November, combining a flexible part-time period in the build-up with a flexible full-time period around the Festival. Applicants need to be based in Cambridge or Cambridgeshire and available throughout CFF45.
The internships are unpaid, with financial support towards reasonable travel and subsistence expenses. Interns also receive mentoring and training, alongside cinema and Festival benefits.
There’s still time to apply, but the deadline is midday on Monday, 24 August.

Volunteer at CFF45
Every Festival relies on a team of people to keep things running smoothly, from welcoming audiences and supporting screenings to helping with events and the day-to-day work behind the scenes.
Volunteering with CFF is a practical way to take part in the Festival, meet other people who care about cinema, and experience CFF45 from a different perspective.
We welcome people with a range of backgrounds and experience. If you’re interested in getting involved and want to know what's involved and how to register your interest:
