2025 Festival Dates

We’re delighted to confirm that the Cambridge Film Festival will return from 23 October to 2 November 2025, bringing not eight but eleven days of world-class cinema to the city.

This marks an exciting evolution for the Festival, which will once again run across two weekends – a format not seen since 2015. The extended Festival offers more chances than ever for audiences to enjoy the Festival at a time that suits them, whether midweek or weekend, for a day or across the entire programme.

Free Family Screenings Every Morning of Half-Term
The Family Film Festival returns in an expanded format, offering free screenings every morning during the October half-term holiday. Whether it’s your child’s first cinema trip or a chance to relive a classic together, it’s a welcoming and joyful space for all ages.

Industry Day Returns
Designed for aspiring filmmakers, students and early-career creatives, CFF Industry Day brings together professionals from across the film sector for a day of talks, panels and networking. It’s a vital part of our mission to support the next generation of filmmakers and will return during the Festival. Full details to be announced soon.
