Synopsis
If you miss early 2000s teen indies, look no further. Arkansas, summer 2002, and high schoolers Minnie and Callie prepare for life after graduation. Though best friends, the two appear to be polar opposites. Minnie is the upper-middle class, popular star of drama class. Callie is her shy plus one, happy to live in her friend’s shadow while navigating her single mother and a foster baby in a run-down home on the wrong side of the tracks. When their friendship suddenly ends, Callie needs to discover who she is on her own in this pure slice of Americana.
