Located at the entrance to Downing College in the heart of Cambridge and opened in February 2016, the Heong Gallery is dedicated to modern and contemporary art. Formerly Edwardian stables, the gallery was created as part of a larger construction project at Downing College.

Named after College alumnus Alwyn Heong, a passionate supporter of the visual arts, the Heong Gallery this year plays host to Untitled, an immersive installation by Steve Farrer, and between 3:30-6.00 on Monday 24th, the Then and Now Round Table Discussion, where microcinema film-makers, former members of the London Film-Makers' Co-op, curators and critics will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing experimental film today.
