DIRECTOR: Rudy Riverón Sánchez

WITH: Gabriela Ramos, Eslinda Núñez, Lynn Cruz, Jorge Enrique Caballero

The first psychological horror film to be made in Cuba, Rudy Riverón Sánchez’s feature debut, follows 13-yearold Lili. She and her mother are trapped in a meagre, suffocating existence by her domineering father, Eduardo. His sudden absence should represent a new freedom for them, but Lili is distraught, and we come to discover just how strong the influence of this monstrous man is over his family. When Lili carries out a spiritual ritual to help bring him back, she uncovers a disturbing truth about her father’s disappearance.

We are delighted that director Rudy Riverón Sánchez will attend the screenings for a Q&A with the audience.
