One of the most moving melodramas of recent years, Where I Never Lived stars Emmanuelle Devos as Francesca, daughter of a famous architect, whose desire was for her to follow him into his firm. She now lives in Paris with her family. Returning to Turin for her father’s birthday, she is coerced into helping Massimo, a partner in the practice, on a project. This beautifully crafted film boasts exquisite cinematography and art direction along with subtle, intense performances from the two leads.

The Cambridge Film Festival is presented by the Cambridge Film Trust, a registered charity with a mission to foster film culture and education for the benefit of the public, in Cambridge and the Eastern region but also throughout the UK.
