The great Austrian documentary maker Michael Glawogger had been filming around the world before he suddenly died. As he said of his plans “This film will give a view of the world that can only emerge by not pursuing any particular theme, by refraining from passing judgment, proceeding without aim. Drifting with no direction except one's own curiosity and intuition.” Two years later Monica Willi completed the documentary from the film he shot and his diaries. The film is full of remarkable imaginary counterpointed by the philosophical diary entries, creating a remarkable view of our world.
