Months after their breakup, Gunnar receives a strange, distressed phone call from his ex-boyfriend, Einar. Gunnar drives up to the isolated cabin where Einar is holed up and they begin to dissect the remains of their broken relationship. Meanwhile, someone or something seems to be lurking outside the cabin, wanting to get in. The powerful chemistry between the two lead actors fuels the portrayal of a rocky, fractured relationship which is reflected in the grim beauty of the Icelandic landscape. Director Thoroddsen builds waves of queasy suspense to a spooky climax that redefines and refreshes the parameters of modern horror.

We are delighted to welcome director Erlingur Óttar Thoroddsen for a Q&A following the Friday screening.
