DIRECTOR: Sergi Portabella

WITH: Max Megías, Claudia Vega, Ágata Roca, Pau Durà

Sergi Portabella’s debut film is a coming-of-age road movie which clearly recalls the great François Truffaut and his sensitive portrayal of children. There are other French influences too, such as Albert Camus, the landscape and the style of scoring, but the resulting film is very much Portabella’s own, with a superb central performance from Max Megías as the child who longs to meet Camus in Paris and find the meaning of life.

We are delighted to welcome director Sergi Portabella to the screening on Friday 26th October for a Q&A with the audience.
