DIRECTOR: Marta Hernaiz Pidal

WITH: Alda Hadzibegovic, Hava Dombic

The feature debut from Marta Hernaiz Pidal sets its style early with a stunning opening shot that introduces Nada against a brutal concrete Sarajevo setting. Nada is struggling with her daughter who has been diagnosed on the autistic spectrum. As life becomes increasingly oppressive she decides to head off with her daughter on a journey to visit her parents. Always compelling, not least because of the wonderful relationship between mother and daughter, but also the eye for a stunning image and incident.
