In Your Community
A vital part of the year round CFF at Home programme, Cambridge Film Festival In Your Community combines film presentation events in partner community venues with a film exhibition training programme and mentoring scheme.
CFF In Your Community, delivered in partnership with Cambridge City Council, is moving into its second year. Now with an expanded educational and training element which will lead up to and directly support the community film screening events slated to take place with established partner venues during the first quarter of 2021.
Established in 2019 CFF In Your Community is a free of charge Cambridge Film Festival initiative which brings a diverse film programme out of the traditional cinema setting and into the heart of local communities. It is key to delivering on CFF’s commitment to developing a diverse audience for the Festival and to innovation and outreach.
The programme of screenings is supported by a training and mentoring scheme which will equip local volunteers with the skills and equipment necessary to take on and develop film screening events themselves, with ongoing CFF support.
