CAMBRIDGE FILM FESTIVAL ON LOCATION presents

FILMS IN THE FOREST in Rendlesham Forest, near Woodbridge in Suffolk

Don’t miss two nights of spectacular outdoor screenings under the stars and amongst the trees, as we join forces with Theatre In The Forest to transform a beautiful woodland glade in Suffolk’s Rendlesham Forest into the perfect open-air cinema – a stunning location which also hosts Red Rose Chain’s summer season of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.

Hot and cold drinks, beer, wine and snacks will be available from our Adnams Bar and Paddy & Scott’s refreshment stands.

Bank Holiday Monday 29th August

Douglas Fairbanks stars in the lavish silent swashbuckler ROBIN HOOD (1922, PG, 105mins) accompanied by “the doyen of silent film accompanists” (according to Radio 4′s Today progamme) Neil Brand and his ‘Merry Men’ with the world premiere of his new score.

Rendlesham Forest became notorious as the site of ‘Britain’s Closest Encounter’ following an alleged UFO sighting in 1980 – making it the ideal location for a rare screening of Spielberg’s unforgettable CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND (PG, 132 mins).
