This half term, prepare to be spooked at the Cambridge Family Film Festival! On Thursday 27th we're showing a range of frightening films, with the affordable price of £4 per showing!

First up, there’s Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, with an introduction from Philip Pepper, who animated the original series, and a chance to draw your own Scooby Doo cartoons with him. There’s also Tim Burton’s darkly enchanting, Oscar-nominated Corpse Bride, and the late Gene Wilder stars in Mel Brooks’ riotously funny spoof, Young Frankenstein, which will have you in stitches. Lastly, there will be a showing of four scary Halloween Shorts for kids with a taste for the ghoulish!

As well as films, there will be a variety of free activities suitable for children. Kids can join Black Shuck Cambridge Ghost Tours where they’ll get to dress up in their most frightening costumes and take a spooky selfie – you can even take a chance on the unlucky dip! Don’t miss the Bright Ideas Craft Table which will be making scary spiders to get into the Halloween spirit!

These are just a few of the events taking place at the Cambridge Family Film Festival this half term between the 22nd – 27th October at the Arts Picturehouse. For more information about the many different films and activities available for children of all ages this year, visit
