This bank holiday saw the return of one of the Festival’s most popular unique events: The Grantchester Meadows outdoor screenings, this time under the title Movies on the Meadows.
The Festival prides itself on catering to as wide an audience as possible, and to this end the films selected were Twilight Eclipse, Up, and Metropolis, all of which were brought to life on our inflatable screen.
Our dedicated staff, including the new Screen Team project, were on hand to make sure these events went smoothly and that the public enjoyed their experience with the Festival.
Despite a cold snap late Friday night, the weather was lovely, with the sun even deciding to shine at times.
With quality food from local producers, as well as picnics brought from home, the public were well looked after and comfortable whilst enjoying the films.
Online Producer Matt Waters even found time to record a quick AudioBoo update on Saturday evening.
We hope to see you all next year for more Movies on the Meadows!
