Write for the Festival Daily

The Cambridge Film Festival’s daily newspaper seeks a team of volunteer contributors.

Mostly we want you to write reviews since we cover every film showing at the festival. But some of you will also be able to write features as we explore the programme and interview the guests. As one of the few film festivals in the UK with a volunteer publication this is a great way to be the first to write about some of the best new independent films.

Availability in Cambridge during the Festival (16 – 26 September) is essential, however there may be a small amount of viewing/writing in the run-up to the event.

Please send a brief CV and a film review (300 words or more) to daily@cambridgefilmfestival.org.uk

Deadline: Friday 16 July 2010

(late applications will be considered subject to availability)

We’re no longer accepting submissions for the 2010 Festival, and our reviewers are currently watching the many films that have been sent in for consideration.  Thank you all for your efforts – we will let you know which submissions have been successful by the middle of August.
