Creative Front: The Price of Storytelling

Creative Front are proud to be presenting: The Price of Storytelling, a vital and timely event on new models of film funding, online distribution and the ethical issues that surround film making.

Location: Emmanuel College, Cambridge
Compered by Jan Gilbert, film journalist and presenter, the event will feature presentations and screenings from:
    •    Heather Leach of Ginger Army Productions who produces long and short form media for multiple platforms and recently won the Current Crowd-Funding Pitch at Sheffield DocFest to make her new film, Dancing with Hugo Boss
    •    Sloane U'Ren and Antony Neely, Cambridgeshire-based Director and Producer, who mortgaged their house to fund their new feature, Dimensions
    •    Suzanne Alizart of EM Media, the screen agency investing in and supporting creative talent across the Eastern regions of England
    •    Sally Hodgson of Sound It Out, a documentary portrait of the last surviving vinyl record shop in Teesside, North East England, financed through donation from over 200 members of the public
    •    Gavin Humphries of Quark Films, an innovative production company working across fiction, documentary and animation for feature, TV and digital platform.
    •    Sarah Mosses producer of goodscreenings.org for the Channel 4 BRITDOC Foundation, looking after the development of the platform and curation of the site.
    •    Gregory Vincent, of Sponsume, the biggest crowd funding platform for creative projects in the UK & Europe.
