Trains on the Brain
CAMBRIDGE FAMILY FILM FESTIVAL / TRANSPORTED
Various, 2010.
45 mins. Various
Fast trains, slow trains, stop trains, go trains: a specially curated programme of train films (c45mins) for the under-12s, with a train-themed workshop to follow!
We’ll be showing you some magical mini-movies, including one of the very first films ever shown – which terrified its original audiences, as they thought they would be run over by the train – and some short adventures on trains, in trains and about trains. Our experienced educational facilitator will be leading the event to make sure everyone gets involved and excited by what’s on screen, and really gets the most out of this chance to watch something a litle bit out of the ordinary. . . .
Part of the Arts Council funded ‘Transported: The Art of The Train’ Programme of Screenings and Special Events and the first ever Cambridge Family Film Festival!
