To celebrate its new September dates, the 28th Cambridge Film Festival is proud to present a spectacular screening of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY at the Institute of Astronomy on 13 and 14 September 2008 after dusk.
For the first time in the UK, Kubrick’s sublime journey into space will be shown outdoors in 70mm to highlight its stunning cinematography and renowned soundtrack.
Held in collaboration with The Junction and the Institute of Astronomy, the evenings will be complemented by special talks and additional screenings at the Institute’s lecture theatre (limited availability).
Advance booking will open on 1 August so don’t miss this unique opportunity to watch Kubrick under the stars!
